To make long story short:
I dated a guy for 3 months. A short time, I know but things happened fast and we fell for each other quickly. He confesses he loves me but doesn't want to scare me away and starts asking about the future and he introduces me to his family and friends.

He asks me if I am in for it long term and I tell him there are no guarantees for the future and that I can't guarantee it will work out with my family because they may not like him.

We try to continue but it seems he is getting scared because of no guarantees from my side.. then leaves for his ex that he lived with for a year. It may have been for comfort or it may have been to prevent himself for getting hurt or maybe he truly does love her.
